Fashion Forward: How to Transition Your Summer Wardrobe for Fall

By Brittany Dottolo

It’s that time again—when the air starts to cool, and your closet stares back at you like, “What now?” Fall fashion can feel tricky, but it doesn’t have to be a complete closet overhaul that breaks your bank. Investing in a few key statement pieces can help you seamlessly transition any of your summer favorites into stylish autumn looks. And lucky for us, our cover feature this month, LE RÉUSSI® has exactly what you need to build a capsule wardrobe this fall.

If there’s one item that screams "fall classic," it’s LE RÉUSSI's cashmere turtleneck , versatile enough to wear to the office and then out for dinner. Pair it with a skirt or tailored trousers for work, or switch to high-waisted jeans and ankle boots for evening plans. The soft fabric makes it a perfect layering piece too—throw a loose coat or blazer over it, and you’re ready to go for those cooler nights!

Blazers are Your New Best Friend. Speaking of blazers, this is a fall must-have that you’ll reach for again and again. LE RÉUSSI offers a range of options, from sleek and structured to more relaxed styles. Blazers aren’t just for boardrooms anymore—one of my favorite looks is pairing a blazer with tailored shorts or jeans. It gives off a polished 'rich' meets effortless look, as if to say “I woke up like this." This combo works great for brunch or casual meetings, especially in those early fall days when it’s not quite cold enough for full-on layers.

Fall means COZY and COOL. Layers are too heavy, so don't panic and overdoing your fall style this season. Remember, fall is a transitional time. A few key pieces mixed in with your existing summer wardrobe can take you from casual to totally ready for the season!

So-Keep it Cozy, Keep it Cool, and Keep out those summer tank tops or cool sports bras, you're going to need them so you can beef up your style by layering them under a chunky knit. an oversized jacket, or a posh blazer. For the finishing touch, add some statement jewelry and you’ve got that stylish, transitional look that will leave others envious. Yet, you know you barely did anything. It's our little secret!
